Participants will have opportunities for hands-on practice, and consider implications for use of these tools within their school boards using the Framework for Effective Mathematics Teaching and Learning Using IWB by Cathy Bruce.

For a product key, look on the right side of any SMART board and record the serial number - send this in to SMART (see SMART download page, step 1) to get e-mailed a product key - this key is good for all users in your school board, so save it to pass on to colleagues within your jurisdiction. Please note: If you are installing to a local drive on a networked machine, you might have to have technical assistance as some network administrators have blocked user ability to install software. If you aren't blocked, you may find that the "Essentials..." gallery doesn't load in its entirety: you can obtain the "Essentials..." gallery separately at the SMART Admin Tools page. It's a zip file that you extract: inside the folder will be a folder with all the images plus an exe file that you can use to install the "Essentials..." gallery. (Wm. Lundy)
